It's good to know that he realized his mistake and tried to make amends. Hopefully he learned something.

I guess I'm still confused why you brought in UB40 in the first place.Oh well.

Lifts in his socks.

What an attitude on you. I did read your part about "going down a discography." What did you mean by it, because I read it as going down Fine Young Cannibals' discography, which does not include "Red Red Wine."

I'll return to my Red Red Wine, but that song was popularized by UB40.

Lost Sirens should have been kept in a vault. I thank god for this new album so I know that Lost Sirens isn't their final release. As for "Waiting…" I like the title track, "Krafty" "Dracula's Castle" and "Guilt is a Useless Emotion" a lot. And I sort of like just about everything else. "Jetstream" being my least…

Also from "Slow Jam"

I know the implication is that you can't buy honey with money, but I've always tried to defend the line by it being two separate statements. As in Love is like Honey. <stop>
You Can't buy (love) with Money <stop>

I enjoy The Other Two for it's totally awesome totally dated sound. I have it on cassette.

BUT HE OWES ME!!!!!

That was my thought. He's telling the story of the past while there are monsters at the door, and whatever his annoying sidekick (Bast) wants.

Have you read any other HateSongs? It seems like Ms. Eakin does a lot of egging on. Maybe to gather more material to flesh out when a Hatesong is becoming uninteresting.

It's a "Good Thing" she didn't pick the other songs then right?

Somehow I doubt it is a "conclusion." Okay, it probably gets the characters past and origin out of the way, but I have a feeling it will just lead into a new trilogy.

True, and for a few seasons the book readers can feel all cool and better than the show watchers because of their knowledge. But then just like with Game of Thrones they will be left in the dark waiting and getting pissed that the show is going to spoil their books because the authors are too slow with their writing.

Clever? Maybe, but this is still a fucking "Firstie" Fuck their resurgence!

My god was English Electric excellent. An OMD album in 2013 had no right to sound that good, yet it did. I love "Dresden" and "Metroland" and "Helen of Troy" The whole thing is pretty solid.

Got it. I probably should have looked at the other songs too.

Rage is still around? No shit. That comes as a surprise to me.

New Order Music Complete. I love it. The new CHVRCHES is great too, but I would rather listen to New Order most days. Also, I have come around to fully loving Beach Houses Depression Cherry Which I occasionally sneak in between listens to New Order.
