It's pretty dire stuff, and I can absolutely see why they were culled from "Waiting For The Sirens Call." I like that album too, but you're right that is is the lesser of the two late-period albums. (Hard to believe it's been nearly a decade since it came out. Time slow down.)

As ridiculous as "Rock the Shack" is lyrically, I can' help but to be pumped by it. But don't listen to me as I love pretty much anything New Order. Hell I even like the Billy Corgan guested track from Get Ready.

Thought I'd ask and was hoping for a discussion. Now I'm slightly disappointed.

Sports is funny? Care to elaborate?

For Old Times Sake!

Is it cool to dislike it though? It seems like a favorite for just about everybody. A perennial holiday classic.

Did anyone ask Brett Ratner's take on it? He's been studying that Big Book of Butts so long he has to have an opinion.

Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels also supposedly wanted their scenes cut, but that didn't leave much movie.

The first I heard They Might Be Giants was from the Tiny Toon Adventures episode where they had cartoons to go along with "Istanbul (Not Constantinople)" and "Particle Man" I'm sure this was a lot of people my age's first exposure to them. My friend and I bought Flood and Apollo 18 and loved them. I got their first

The Perfect Kiss is the Perfect Song. When everything Crescendos at the end I am swept away. I usually immediately play it again.

You really just can't mention Sports without someone posting this Monologue anymore. Can't you just tell me how you really feel about the album?

You might be right, though I vaguely remember seeing bits of it when I was younger and not being impressed.

You're not alone. I watched it last year and couldn't find the appeal or all that much redeeming about it.

But like, you're only cool if you like the deep cuts man. Don't be like the sheeple that only like the popular stuff. Have you even listened to "Some Great Reward?"

They do have a lot of good ones and I'm not going to argue with you if you think this is their BEST. I'm a bit cliche, but "Enjoy the Silence" is my favorite of theirs.

Also, I can't believe this is the same guy who sang "Is She Really Going Out With him."

*ding sing sing

YES!!!!! Thank you so much! This has been driving me batty for so long!

I've been trying to figure the name and singer of a song that has been in my head for the last month. I thought it was "Into the light" or "Into the Night" as those are the only words I can think of, but all of my searches come up short for that phrase. Only this morning I thought of another song by probably the same

I don't know, you look good with that top hat on.
