I read about this on i09 awhile back and was interested then. Good to know it's streaming on Netflix. I will check this out soon.

Hot Hot Heat is a band of diminishing returns. The album with this one was great, the one that followed was decent, but everything since has been ho-hum.

The English Beat- "Get a Job"

Clubfeet- "Get Loose"

There is still boy/girl co-vocals, but the noise is mostly gone. I have to agree that the album is pretty blah. It's too cleaned up. Not terrible but not memorable either.

I'm not even really into Punk/Hardcore anymore, but "David Comes to Life" is so fucking amazing.

Cultural Dealbreaker.

And Big Bang just got renewed for 3 more.

Now we'll never know what the AV Club thinks of it.

That one's Okay I guess. I'm going to give this album another shot soon, but the truth is I don't really like The White Stripes.

Well there you go. I probably should have sold mine during the height of White Stripes Hype and gotten a pretty penny for it. Instead it has been packed away with the rest of my cds never to see the light of day again.

It is, and I appreciate not telling me "You're wrong you dumb asshole you." But I also don't like this Lebowski quote thrown back at me whenever I give my opinion, no matter how unpopular it may be.

Aside from "Fell in Love With A Girl" and maybe "We're Going to be Friends" this is the only song I liked on White Blood Cells. Man was I disappointed when I bought this album all those years ago.
