My absolute favorite issue of EGM was one where they Reviewed Metroid Prime and Mortal Combat Advance. Those were the high and low point of each of those reviewers career. I had a huge collection of EGM’s before I moved that I trashed. I kept every single comic of Hsu and Chan, cut them out with a boxcutter :)

I absolutely adore Infinite, but Bioshock’s intro and atmosphere cannot be topped. Just prefer Infinite’s art design (love bright colors in game design) and story.

Forget games. I would finance a Mass Effect film. Barring that, I would act as a producer to the Next Mass Effect game, give them extra money to expand it and make it the best game possible and hopefully get my money back on the investment. Yes, I am a whore for this series.

Letdown times. JAK 2 probably provoked my biggest rejection, after so many amazingly fun Naughty Dog games with fun characters (grew up on Crash Bandicoot) Jak 2 opens with the lead being tortured and then talking in a terrible voice. I instantly stopped playing and did not go back.

My money’s on $299. They want it below console costs.

Rocket League’s success shows how far a great concept with excellent gameplay can go. Incredible how well it has done compared to AAA titles. Very happy for that teams success!
