Agreed on all accounts.

I think he did this to get it found at all, not to get it found more quickly. Still an unconscionable act and he should be punished.

Just more electrified unobtainum that the masses won’t be able to afford.

No, you sounda pretty mad.

You may enjoy this site, which documents instances where people misinterpreted the intent of The Onion and similar satire sites:

Some people don’t get it. I’m waiting for a full article written entirely in German. Imagine the comments on that!

Thank God The Onion doesn't have comments.

Me literally collapsing on the ground as my left hand literally types on its own without my input reads as... serious?

I gotta work on my satire, then!

Yeah, I grew up in Germany, so I knew that. But alas, I couldn’t find a station...

...The article was satire.

I don’t think any European fills up on the motorway locally unless you are about to run out.

Tourists and people who have a tank pass from their employer do. No one else does.

dude, what the hell? no one in their right mind fills his car up on the autobahn.

(This is fairly typical among German service workers; they can be quite rude. My recommendation to American travelers is to assertively tell them to relax).

For petrol in the Netherlands -damn near the the most expensive country in the world for fuel- the current rate is from 1,90- 2,10 euros for premium petrol.
I’ve actually nearly stopped driving, unless I really have to, this is just not fun on a uni student budget...

It’d have a horrible effect on car culture. But yeah, it should have positive climate change implications.

It would actually be great if gas was this expensive (or moreso) all over the world.

Fuel prices here have risen from already-astronomical prices.

This particular station was one of the worse ones, as it was just off the Autobahn. For cheaper fuel, I should have driven five minutes from the highway.

it seems ridiculous that a party that won 11.5 percent of the vote could prevent a policy wanted by 60 percent of people.
