Is that imperial or American gallons?

Thank you for giving the Tacoma some credit for once. Seems like every other day it’s getting bashed by Jalops because the design hasn’t changed much. That’s part of the Toyota success formula. If it ain’t broke...don’t fix it. The previous hilux ran mostly unchanged from 79-95, with only modular changes like EFI and

The down side is that I cannot keep oil in my 98, and I fear for its longevity (148k miles)

Laughed til I cried at resume forward travel

Don't listen to them. My first was a 1998 Corolla. Same specs, same engine, I believe. People vastly underrate how much fun you can have with a corolla. No they aren't fast. But when you floor it anything will go. And they are light and very toss able.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say YouTube isn't blocked at work, is it Raph

Shots fired

Ok, clearly there are people here who know more about these power trains than I do.

So am I dude. But I question the wisdom in designing a vehicle to be at max load all the time. When you could put something else in that would have a safety factor. But I’m not going to pretend I know better than osh kosh

Would you put a 22R in a crew cab Tacoma today and then put half a ton of gear in passengers/cargo on it? According to payload ratings and weight differences maybe it would work for a short and indefinite amount of time with three radiators. But not for long. Because the engines aren’t designed to be ran at that load

I really like those rims

Couldn't agree more. I love a Toyota truck but there is a step side tundra in the parking lot by work and I gag every time I make eye contact with those wretched tail lamps

Read that as “I got struck...” Phew! Yikes

Ah, but wouldn’t the original flathead Cadillac V8 circa 1914 be the first mass produced 16V passenger car engine?! Ha-HA! GOTCHA GRAVEROBBER!

Sorry, probably a dumb question. I’ve never owned or driven a vehicle less than 17 years old.

Do these have IFS?

That’s awesome! I wish you guys the best of luck! Hope you brought ratchet straps, zip ties, and duct tape, I know I’ve used all those things this week anyways...

The 4 cylinder is a great engine. They have the same reputation for reliability as the old 22r, as far as I know. But the trucks are bigger and heavier than before, by a huge margin. And for good reason-my 87 is an extremely dangerous and uncomfortable yet lovable tin can. It may not make a lot of sense to the

Even my slush box 87 was the same way. Unfortunately that’s just how it goes for 4 bangers. They can’t breathe and put it to the wheels when they’re only turning 2000 RPM. I have to play with my overdrive button all the time, especially on the highway, because it doesn’t always kick down like it should. Isn't it sort

Acknowledge the southeastern USA damn you!!! Where my dirty south jalops at?!
