Just realizing my comment started the same way

Now I’ve never driven a CR-Z, but I really think it shouldn’t be on this list. The market isn’t the same as it was in the 80s and early 90s. Small, less than rocket-fast cars don’t sell well because 1) safety regulations have made everything more bloated 2) the average consumer expects more from a new car than they

I agree, the brake line thing is dangerous and a hack job. But many of his other videos are genuinely helpful. When I am preparing to do some work, I watch his videos, and Eric the car guy’s. I also read the repair manual. Scotty gives some helpful tips and cautions so I might avoid breaking a bolt or something.

The real joke here is your comment about the 97-01 CR-V steelies. I think they are beautiful, and I hate the alloys that I have on my CR-V instead. In fact I put up a Craigslist ad just 2 days ago, looking for a set of 5.

You sir, are a genius

That is just way too cool. Normally i’m a ho-hum car owner -CRV, Corolla- I appreciate subtlety and utility.

You have a beautiful mind

THOSE WHEELS!!!!!!!! I really dig those old BBS wheels in black or gold. I have a hard time finding them around here though :( did they even make 5-bolt versions?

Best comment ever. Actually lol’d

Now that I have a hatchback and I see the beauty of hatch life I would like to add hatch to the list

I have to say I disagree. Corolla is the king of beaters. These things are rock solid - I can vouch for that. I've had two. Here is a list of the maintenance and repairs I did on them:

oh yes

This summarizes my senior yeah of high school pretty well

This hot mess (my new 98 CR-V) - not for lack of functionality, but for lack of weather-proofing. Here we are, April showers, and I discover that the vague dog butt smell is caused by two separate, major leaks.

Holy cannoli.

Okay, wait a second - can you get in-state tuition in this way?! I know in my state of Tennessee, I am grandfathered in bc I finished high school here -so obviously it would vary state to state - but there are restrictions; perhaps this would work?

0/10 would buy Honda

Are you serious?
