Absolutely proof read your deed. I’ve read thousands of deeds in Texas, and far too many of them contained mistakes which cost buyers and subsequent buyers a lot of money and hassle. I’ve even seen banks which did not read their deeds and ended up repossessing and reselling the wrong house. I’ve seen residential lot

Get to know how your local appraisals work. Every state is different. I worked for two appraisal districts in Texas and noticed some (illegal) differences between the two. In Texas the buyer and seller do not have to disclose the sales price to the appraisal district. Smart buyers will never disclose, but many sellers

The last sentence is disappointing.

Two simple rules for a happy life; do not fall in love with the stripper. Do not buy a 20 year old Maserati.

I was out there in 2015 when I was going to the ST Academy. There is a sign and that is it. It was flooded when I was there so I couldn’t walk out on to it. I wouldn’t recommend driving on it. I saw a couple get stuck just of 80 that I think decided to drive out on the flats.

LOL wut?! The Pinto was a shit car. Not for the gas tank issue, but just because it was a shit car.
