bah dum dum SHISH!

“You do know Elvis is dead right?”

See? See? That’s what happens when you sell a reverberating atomizer with mutate capacity to an unlicensed cephalopod.

“I know how we can handle a Presidential loose cannon! Let’s start a civil war!!” - California

I am not a Trump fan, nor did I vote for him, but his government is not illegitimate. If you win the election and you haven’t cheated (manipulated actual ballots) you won fair and square. Saying the government is illegitimate only weakens all the correct things you say after.

Does any reasonable person think that you’re going to shitpost from a government account and Trump is going to allow it to continue? Seems reasonable to me to ask them to stop posting on Twitter until further notice.

I should have read comments first before I posted. Who doesn’t love steak and onions?

Maybe add some garlic too?

Check this out - last November’s recreation of BBC Television’s opening night - including the trials and tribulations of building a mechanical TV system.

That’s impressive. For a lot of years, most location reporting on British television was shot on film - up until the early 80s, when better, broadcast quality video cameras became available.

Back in the very earliest days of TV, on the BBC’s opening night - some 80 years ago now, they were testing two rival TV systems.

I like your idea better because it’s evil, therefore air companies are more likely to adopt it.

Yeah, that was my conclusion, too. None of the major donors here surprise me at all. Any of the center-leftists on the list made pretty small donations. They may well have been supporting Eisenhower as a candidate regardless of his party affiliation.

Reporter: Can you describe how you felt when you were offered the scholarship and then when they rescinded it just two weeks before signing day?

I’m SO old, I remember watching our TV stations sign on early in the morning and sign off late at night. IIRC, they showed video of the American flag waving with the Star Spangled Banner playing just prior to going off air for the night.

Make planes only with back seats! BOOM! Million dollar idea! Where’s my check?

Thank you for sharing your experiences. I recognize all those names except Winky Dink. Sounds kind of interesting with the interactive stuff. I guess I thought there were more channels available—maybe 1o or so. But if New York only had 7, I imagine here in northern California we had no more than half of that number?

Finally! Somebody else who remembers Winky Dink!

TV came to South Africa in 1977. So late in the game. Even then it was very controlled. Short broadcast times. Limited English broadcasting (much of it being in Afrikaans). I remember growing up, many of the shows from the US that I really loved were dubbed into Afrikaans and the original English was available on a

I remember moving from SC to near Washington DC in 1969 and the thrill of going from 3 channels to 5! Wonderama!
