Locate some self-awareness, dude.

Why is your punctuation so awful?

You know, if you take a break from typing and wait until you’re no longer insanely angry, you might be able to write comments that aren’t filled with incomprehensible punctuation errors. Just a thought.

Thing is, that character needed an actor to play him as an egotistical asshole. Turns out that Tim Allen didn't need to "act" that way, he just naturally is.

God, Alec Baldwin or Kevin Kline would’ve been so much better in “Galaxy Quest”. And then I’d have zero reasons to defend him.

They should make a movie about this and get Justin Long to play him

I am perplexed by the kind of dude who needlessly defends a stranger’s bad behavior WHILE ALSO needlessly being a total dick to every other commenter.

Thanks for sending this same response twice. The repetition really showed how clever and witty it was.

TDS, even that is so lame, throwback to Bush Derangement Syndrome, the idea being that if you have the organs of vision and the means to employ them and therefore can plainly see that someone is behaving in a way that goes against anything a reasonable person has learned about how the country operates and came to be

That doesn’t condone dickishness, the better descriptor is that he’s a right-wing conservative Trump supporting MAGA who expects all women I’m sure to be like trad wives in his presence and anybody “below” him on a set will get the same treatment. He’s bought into the stereotype of a “star” and thinks he can do

Your misuse of punctuation is funnier than anything Tim Allen ever shit out.

Who are these people who speak highly of him?

You seem to be either a deranged troll or a Tim Allen superfan (a possibility that is arguably more deranged), so it’s useless to respond. Still, this comment is too funny to ignore.

You seem like you don't tip waiters

Yea, he really does seem the type to walk around life completely delusional like that.

When your defence of someone is “everyone else does it too!” or “It’s always been that way!” you might need to rethink your choice to defend him.

Star? It’s a direct to Disney+ series. He’s a tv guy. He got lucky with a voice acting gig in Toy Story. Tom Hanks is a Star. Tim Allen is not. No one is beating down Tim Allen’s door to do anything that’s not a sequel to something from 20-30 years ago.

Some actors can handle their status in a proper manner, like being helpful to new actors (Meryl Streep comes to mind) if they’re nervous, whereas others feel their fame entitles them to behave like absolute dicks. Too bad some of the ‘orrible ones perform really well in the whatever movie they are shooting.

This is more or less what I would expect from someone who’s probably thinking “I’m surrounded by godless heathen libtards” every day he’s on a film set.

Doesn’t matter, he’s working with other people, fellow professionals who deserve a baseline of respect, and (former) star status doesn’t excuse him from basic decency, which it sounds like Allen has very little of
