I think the former Lt Gov is scheduled to testify tomorrow so I don’t think the grand jury has seen these yet),…

I remember he was ticked off about how the book and movie portrayed him and wrote his own books telling his side of the story, so yeah I wouldn’t be surprised if they had no communication for years.

This also is not the 1st time he has had less than positive things to say.

Given that he found out about the conservatorship earlier this year in legal discovery rather than from them, I suspect they haven’t been on speaking terms for a while.

Something always seemed gross to me about that movie. At the time, I thought it was just the unpleasant stink of “white savior narrative + christian propaganda bullshit” wafting off the whole thing. Fun to hear that it was somehow much worse.

If they’d legally adopted him, he would be entitled to the same inheritance as their biological children. He probably only just found out that he wasn’t, so now he wants compensation for all the money they made off him. I’m sure he knew he wasn’t getting checks from the book/movie, but he probably didn’t worry too…

He was aware of the conservatorship. But he entered into it under the impression that it made him a “member of the family,” which apparently it did not.

Presumably he was getting paid his NFL salary. What he is claiming he did not receive was his fair share of the money from the movie/book about his life.

Trolley buses are a simple reliable technology and we should use more of them rather battery buses. They don’t need to be recharged, cost less and have excellent service lives. There are also some designs that incorporate a small battery for operation away from the overhead lines for servicing or specialty routes. 

Don’t even need that. People have been putting cones on the hood and that stops the cars in their tracks. 

And people do not want ‘THEM” being able to take public transit into their exclusive neighborhoods. 

Uhhh.... No one at this company could for see that they’ll ever loose a wireless signal?

Not to mention funnel money away from public transit investments directly into tech-bros’ bank accounts.

All because no one wants to invest in public transit.

For oh so many reasons, “self-driving” cars should be banned, period. They are a menace to public safety.
