It’s litteraly Bethesda using the “Prey” branding, it’s not “just a word” how dense are you?
G.I. Jane and O.J. Simpson references in 2022. I see why this genius of comedy is getting paid the big bucks!
“Think of your father as the CEO of this house...”
He also mentioned that he now has a “squad” of “60 dudes” who he has weekly Zoom meetings and bike rides with so that he can get feedback on his actions, “in real time.”
Every headline on G/O Media these days reads like the Steve Buscemi meme from 30 Rock. It’s embarassing.
Then why is this show specificaly set in a Blockbuster instead of a fictitious brand or an independant one?
The nostalgia for Blockbuster is disgusting corporate revisionism. It was a shitty chain with puritanical values that put small business owners out of business by using their size and money. Fuck Blockbuster.
It’s the one time where “She ain’t Madonna” is meant as a compliment, but there’s got to be better example to make this tortured point.
You should get that tattooed Memento-style.
And proceeds to tell the female news anchor that he’s gonna masturbate while thinking of her and there’s nothing she can do about it.
To Harry, I’ll say: Not every musician needs to make the grand pivot to film. Not everyone is gonna be Lady Gaga. In fact, some of you will simply be waiting for “Applause” that may never come. Sorry, Harry. Great ass, though.
Looking forward to reading tomorrow how it’s all Jason Sudekis’ fault!
It’s one of the many forms of the prevalent toxicity in nerd/geek culture. It’s very annoying.
You’re a total piece of shit if you’re pushing this imaginary nonsense as an accessibility tool for people who can’t do in-person instead of real VTTs that actually exist.
Yeah. If WotC’s VTT is as good as they project, great! If it’s not, it’ll suck but we’ll just keep playing the way we already do. I don’t see much downside here.
So you can realistically expect to see it somewhere north of 2027. If you’re even still playing D&D then, which seems unlikely given how mad you are about it and how you apparently don’t have a DM or anyone willing to step up.
Where did I express anger in my post? Reading yours, sure seems like you are projecting.
I’m in my early 40s and only started playing D&D two years ago after many tries. Before that, I’d dip my toes into the hobby and then I’d run away screaming in the other directions every time, exactly because of articles like these. The vocal part of the D&D community is the absolute worst. Every change is sacrilege…
