I can see the reflection of their plate on the hood of your car, you really should have put your thumb over that. Information like that shouldn’t be shared with the general public.

that particular wiper assembly is incredibly expensive and involved to replace and to install - i assume that when it went bad, it was simpler and more cost-effective to just replace the vehicle around it.

It’s not the tire that makes it look cheap. It’s the shitty looking wheel.

Or sure, now we start to racially profile cars.

You have huge balls putting HRE’s through Chicago hell-roads.

You get a star sir!

To some degree, brakes can limit how small the wheels can be on a modern car. Especially those of the high-performance sort. I can’t run anything smaller that 18" up front on my car (with OEM brakes) and that means my sidewalls are going to stay pretty thin if I want to maintain overall diameter.

My series beg to differ. Anyway Grip is 95% in the rubber compliance, tenacity and wall stiffness.

Member when 60s or 50s were the raciest profile on the streets? I member.

I know that you can’t always see every pothole, or avoid every pothole in every situation. Let me state that up front. I live in Chicago. Potholes are a way of life. I’ve driven my lowered BRZ into some invisible potholes at night that had the car basically fall onto its front bumper. I’ve also hit potholes violently

Yes, you can overcome large sidewalls with a few hundred million dollars in other modifications.

1988-1997 would have been the time period they were feeding the 60's, 70's, and early 80's prototype race car styling into their production cars, from concept cars like the Corvette Indy:

Given that...

Needs less Lumina.

Novworries Jerry, if you don’t like the angry scowl trend, there’s still a car for you.

Wow yeah I had to look again.. I thought it was just the angle of the picture, but you may be right. Who needs to look rearward when you’re moving forward sooooooo faaaaast

Stop being so rational and objective, you’re creeping me out

Now I begin to understand how most felt when every day or two there was another article about the Jeep Gladiator.

Another angry scowl. Why are all the new cars pissed off?
