Their entitled attitudes, their lack of decency or respect. A lot of times, people with a lot of money can be complete A Holes. The good thing is, we, as salesmen can reject their money and a sale, just because we can. When they treat us like dirt, we can refuse to sell them anything.

Corporate managers don’t take cars from dealer stock. Unless there was a signed letter from FCA, I can guarantee that the Jeep was either sold by another salesman, dealer traded or the dealership never completed the order.

This is a daily occurrence here on the greater New Orleans area, only it happens at about twenty locations a minute.

WTF was that? New Bandit? Never heard of it, and probably for good reason.

Small efficient pick ups were destroyed by Obama and his EPA, not tariffs.

Engines are made in America, not Mexico.

They didn’t “buy Buell”, they incorporated Erick Buell as a builder and division head. He couldn’t sell enough motorcycles, so HD closed the division/model line.

Yeah, because no one else buys a bike and adds an outrageously loud muffler to their bikes. Harley doesn’t make them loud from the factory.

Well, when you look at the facts, you’d understand why. They have a majority of the market share in the 600cc and up motorcycles sold. So it has been, and even in this down marker, still continues to work for them. But that doesn’t mean thery couldn’t try to get in other sections of the market. They need to make that

I have a few friends that would be able to swoop in, take over and make it a far better company than it is right now.

Yes, because Boomers are the only ones buying and riding Harleys. If that is the case, then the entire motorcycle industry is doomed once the Boomers pass on.

Getting chopped up.

True, but long, straight highways allow for heavy right foot...

And this is why I sleep in my car when I do a road trip by myself.

Not necessarily since the supposed hard core (insert hard headed stereotypes ) customer base is not buying a lot of new bikes these days. Guys in my age group, 35-45 don’t care if they sell a smaller bike.

Well, since Indian doesn’t really have a huge grasp on the market share, I don’t see it as a big threat even after a few years. Even Victory couldn’t hurt HD market share, and look at them now.

Well, had more people actually bought new Buells, then they would have continued to make and sell them. But you have to cut off the leach or it will drain you dry.

Here’s one for you, Glass packs and Ecko Chambers on a V8 Chevy pick up truck in the late 80s and 90s. But at least they weren’t fart cans on the back of a rice burner...

Not when you can get the same, and even better performance out of smaller engines. Heck a N/A V6 has 300+ HP these days, which is more than that 454 V8 has.

You can get the 6.2 in a double or extended cab, but not the regular cab. :(
