While I agree Automata’s music is very good, I think the original Nier is better. Maybe it’s because I still have to finish Automata so I’m not as heavily invested, or haven’t spent as much time with it (haven’t even reached the first ending yet)

Nier, the original. First of all I think we can all agree that the music itself is absolutely beautiful. The way they use music in that game is just masterful, how it dynamically changes according to what you’re doing or going on at the time, etc.
Monster is a fucking masterpiece, not much more I can say than that.
This is what happens when you love what you’re doing, more than the money you’ll be getting.
I’m with you. Miyazaki didn’t invent any of this shit, car chases, trickshots, jazz music, these are all very characteristic of Lupin as a whole, not just CoC.
There is a car chase in almost every Lupin movie or episode.
I didn’t know the details, but the moment I saw that scene I thought of Rocketeer.
do you log out of netflix every time??
I think the point was that it doesn’t send any data over the internet, which would be pretty easy to detect. Not quite the same thing as a piece of software that was specifically designed for transmitting data online having flaws....
“Explaining how they work and why they’re important is a gift all on its own. For example, if you’re giving one to your parents or grandparents—as you absolutely should—you’ll need to spend a little time getting them set up and walking them through how to enable their password manager across their devices.”
“ Hackers arn’t going to hack your disney+ account. ”
“They do...right? If not, well that’s where part of the problem lies.”
I mean.... why would you give your password to someone you don’t trust? It really is YOUR problem if you get hacked. And same applies to anything really... Don’t lend money to a “friend” you don’t trust, don’t do business with someone you don’t trust... etc etc etc.
“Inside your house? Your business” not 100% though, is it? I mean if you rape or kill someone in your house, that’s certainly makes it the police’s business.
I agree for the most part. But “but what happens in front of my house is my business” is 100% wrong. Even on your OWN property this statement would be wrong.
I don’t see how anonymity, or lack thereof, would have changed anything. If a dev wants to cheat, he/she will do so, even more so if he/she is anonymous?
In high school, my biology teacher from the Philippines was telling us a childhood story about how he went to take a shit in the woods (or wherever), he had a tape worm, and asked his friend to help him pull it out of his ass.
Coming from a culture that simply never ever tips, it’s really difficult for me to understand this tipping culture.... Now I live in the UK, where tipping is done (though maybe not as much as the US), and I hardly ever tip. Only if I feel like the person actually made an effort, and not just doing their job.
I thought this person already gets paid for doing... their job?
“Japan has this fetish for writing material, be it pencils or pens or erasers. No idea why it is such a rage there.”
