No, I think a lifetime ban is completely fair.
I think that’s right. I like to compare it with Dark Souls and its message system where players can leave messages in the world for others to see, but you won’t see every single one of them, usually just the high rated ones. But you don’t actually interact with other players (unless you initiate PVP or have your world…
If I play an RPG like FF14 which i will potentially pay for years, I enter my own birthday, but if I don’t care that much, or a game I will only play once, I just set it to a few days ahead, because I don’t want to wait months for something to happen in game, even if it’s just a tiny easter egg...
cats ARE sentient....
“or there’s a weather-related delay, then you shouldn’t worry”
oh yes... I don’t understand people who go into the toilets bare foot.... seriously people....
no because I’m not an asshole (at least I don’t think I am). And if I did that, I’d have my knee in my face which is even less comfortable than having shoes on.
They really don’t. And I come from a culture where taking off your shoes is the norm, so we make sure we always have clean feet and socks etc.
They’re not, but any shoes will become uncomfortable if you wear them for long enough. 12 hours or more (including getting to and from the airport, etc, this can be a very long time)
“People across the world take their shoes off and are in socks when they walk into people’s homes”
Apparently dev started in 2014. So assuming it actually comes out next year (no reason to believe it won’t, even if it’s delayed a bit) it’s still not that long. Just feels long because it took them 20 years to actually start the remake lol
Those ads were probably the 15s spot versions. In Japan we have 2 lengths for ads:
it’s just the wording he used. You don’t celebrate the “death” of someone, sounds a bit morbid. What he/she probably meant is to celebrate her life, which i agree is better than mourning the death.
This was my thought was well... maybe he meant to say celebrate her life and legacy, rather than the death itself...
this might not apply to you (and doesn’t apply to me either) but I was 18 when the original came out. Won’t be like playing with my brother (which I did, and really enjoyed it) but people could play with their kids, and (re)make new memories
I agree, it’s not really “forever” but 5 years is when they first revealed the game. I’m sure development started much earlier, since by 2015 the game was already in full dev stage.
The point of the game is that you are asked to deliver stuff around the country, and at the same time connecting the “internet” between the cities.
There is plenty of politics in video games. Taking out politics out of the discussion is not doing anyone any favours.
This is a good point actually, and one I constantly think about as I do photography...
