This is basically targeting people with the “first!” mentality, as well as youtubers. If you’re streaming your games or putting up gameplay videos, you’ll get more views for being the first, and people also love to be able to brag that they were first to finish a game or complete a certain challenge.

I think there is a category called “segmented” or something like that, where you try to beat different segments of the game as fast as possible, I think it would fall under that if they were allowed to run these games over 3 days. This is the way I see it as well. If I buy a physical book or movie or whatever, I have absolutely no problem with downloading a pirated digital copy.
