Can anyone confirm if Miyazaki had anything to do with the direction or design of this game? Because, yeah, FromSoft has given us some great games, but all Souls games and BB, except DS2 had Miyazaki involved. And personally, I think DS2 really showed that Miyazaki is essential for Souls games.

I’d say it’s kind of in between - there does seem to be blocking but most of it seems to be done by parrying with the sword rather than using a shield, and the action is a lot more fast paced than the Souls series, more like BB. So far I like what I see.
