Piers Anthony’s depiction of women generally is horrible. I LOVED his books as a young reader, until finally the “WTF?” pile built up too high and I just couldn’t move past it anymore.

Sidenote-I recall reading an interview with King in the early 80's where he mentions his friend, the fellow horror novelist Peter Straub, noting that King writes terrible sex scenes.
