I completely agree with everything here. I loved TLJ, and to see everything retconned is confusing, and weakens the entire trilogy. I knew this would happen after realizing how loud the backlash surrounding TLJ was. We would end up with a cautious finale that would underwhelm.

The first was one of my favorites at the time. The soundtrack and atmosphere were so solid, in my opinion. I loved it. I have wanted to play this one, but was waiting until the full story was out (which is what I did with the first game as well). I am excited to jump into it!

Love this game! Can’t wait to check out the full video. The DKC series on SNES is still one of my favorites of all time. DKC2 is one of my favorite platformers. Improved practically everything about the first game. And the music of all three games is absolutely phenomenal.
