For the uninformed... checking the "Show the Apps view automatically..." takes you to the Apps view rather than the Start Screen. This offers a more Start Menu like experience where you can see your program groups and such, just like in the Start Menu.

So awesome how fast prosthetics are coming along, especially given that they felt so stagnant for so long. At this rate, how long until prosthetics become something people do because they're genuinely better than their organic counterparts? 5 years? 10?
