First time I saw SNZ was at an in-store appearance at a record store, "Hot" was just released, so this was just right as they were starting to get noticed. It was a really great show, no old-timey costumes or gimmicks, just playing a bunch of songs while standing in the middle of a record store on a Saturday afternoon.

ICP makes bad music. Really, really bad. And Juggalo culture is terrible. However, they are kind of entertaining in a weird way. I know that they made a couple of funny Howard Stern appearances way back when, and I did laugh at some of their music video reviews.

So much potential, all completely wasted

Let us not forget: GGI Jabba was not the worst thing to happen to Star Wars in 1997. Masters of Teras Kasi was released for Playstation that same year.

Maybe it's time for Pitchfork to resurrect The Dissolve

They were fun to see live. I loved it when they'd pass around fried chicken

Watching it right now on netflix

Wasn't a big deal, he just went off the grid in a huff and nobody could find him and had us all fearing the worst. When he was found yesterday I was simultaneously relieved and majorly pissed off. I'll say this, driving the streets trying to find someone in the middle of the night is an exercise in futility.

I want a spin-off cartoon with just Dale and Octavio

I DON'T KNOW YOU!

My dad is bipolar, but he stopped taking his meds because they were making him forgetful. I don't know which is worse, him forgetting things, or his wild mood swings. Given an incident that happened this week, I'm gonna say he needs to go back on his meds.

One of the best shows I've seen was a couple of now-defunct Japanese rock bands: The Spunks (who had an American drummer they called "ham sandwich"), and an all-girl group called Gito Gito Hustler. Both bands were supposed to be the opening acts, but the headliner bailed, so they each played longer sets to fill the

Yeah, that was a good one. Doom also contributed to a few songs on Fishscale, and their joint record was supposed to be the follow up to that one, it just never happened.

There were a lot of great surf/garage/rockabilly/protopunk bands in the 90s. In addition to all the ones you mentioned, there was Los Straightjackets, Southern Culture on the Skids, Guitar Wolf, Teengenerate, Rocket From The Crypt, Demolition Doll Rods, etc.

Saw them a couple of times in the mid 90s. One time they brought a tesla coil on stage that would shoot bolts at the rafters. Another time I saw them, when they finished their set, they just left all their instruments and amps plugged in, which led most of the crowd to believe they were coming back on stage. But I was

Depends of how narrow/wide you want to define what Punk music includes. There's a huge range in sound to most of the 70s and 80s punk acts: Black Flag doesn't sound anything like Buzzcocks, The Minutemen don't sound anything like The Misfits, etc. I guess 90s acts like Green Day, Offspring, Rancid, etc all seemed

If I had to list my top 10 solo Wu-Tang albums, half of them would be from Ghostface and Raekwon, with "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx" as my top pick.

I had no idea Scooby Doo did a tribute to that movie until I saw the lounge singer clip from that episode yesterday. I really need to watch that whole Mysteries Inc series, heard nothing but good things. BTW, I also love the Gargantuas tribute they tossed into Crank 2, was one of the best parts of that movie.

I've repeated stories before, so its possible I made this comment already in the past.
