I dismissed the first few books when they came out, just assumed it was kid stuff and not worth my time. Then I had a couple of friends tell me how good they were, I think this was right when Goblet of Fire was released, so I took a gamble and picked up all four books and read them over a weekend. I was really

Binged the first season of GLOW, and was really pleased with it. Dunno if they've greenlit a second season yet, but I hope so.

I'm six episodes in, really good so far.

They also went out of the way to try and not say "Superman" in Man of Steel

They got in an obligatory Eurythmics song.

Saying "then girlfriend" can also imply they were later married (which they were)

You get a glimpse of him in the trailer. I hope it's not just an end-of-season cameo.

I think it would be easier to lose her character altogether, seeing how Mystique is supposed to be an X-Men villain, not it's leader.

He deserves less

Can't believe I'm saying this, but Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates was pretty funny. Dumb as hell, but that was kind of the point I guess.

He still has to finish filming Rampage, another season of Ballers, the Shazam movie, plus sequels to GI Joe and Mysterious Island before filming Skyscraper.

Still living off those "Lost In Space" royalties

I came here to find a David Lee Roth joke and was not disappointed.

Definitely. That's the "destiny" one I mentioned. I love how a lot of those early stories really hold up today.

I think "All-Star" is terrific, but it's really mired in Superman history, so might not be accessible to everyone. I think Byrne's "Man of Steel" reboot form the 80s is pretty great primer for anyone wanting to get into Superman comics.

Was just trying to think of the definitive Spider-Man story, and I guess the one aspect of the character I like is his perseverance in the face of odds clearly stacked against him. So I tend to prefer stories like "Nothing can stop the Juggernaut", or "If this be my destiny".

If you havent heard it yet, I highly recommend checking out L,H & R's "The Hottest New Group in Jazz", a really great album, one of my all-time favorites. The CD release has 3X the amount of bonus songs than what appeared on the original LP.

For the longest time, I had no idea that Vera in Superman 3 was Annie Ross of Lambert, Hendricks and Ross fame.
