On the spectrum of opinions on opinions, Nanjiani’s opinion that “none of us should have an opinion” (deep breath) falls squarely in the center.

Are you ok?

You saw this joke on IGN.

“Stop being so obsessive!”

Fucking christ with you guys and Scorcese.

Scorsese ... that name rings a bell. Was that the guy who made a remake of a much better Hong Kong film (Infernal Affairs), bloated the run time by adding a lot of extraneous material and an ending so grostequely obvious it was pilloried by The Simpsons ... and for which he got a consolation directing Oscar?

Why not, though? Everyone already hated him...

A quick DNA test and we could be done with all this nonsense.

It’s not. I think it’s just an opportunity for us all to pat his ass and say “You’re so brave.”

Someone is gay?   In 2023?    THIS IS NEWS PEOPLE!!!!!

Who fucking cares.... please, ship them to Canada/Australia/New Zealand already. Why did they land here....

What about Gal Gadot, Zachary Levi and Jason Mamoa? So odd that they’d keep the walking disaster that is Ezra Miller who few, if any, care about but ditch Cavill and Johnson that many did care about.

If they had already filmed a Man of Steel sequel I think maybe Cavil might have been kept around. Shame because he seems passionate about...well, geek shit lol. So it sucks to see him leave the witcher AND DCEU.

Yeah, good move. Get rid of everybody else but keep the looney tune...

Who dis homo?

The most hilarious, and most on-brand, being the reveal that Johnson demanded the studio set up a tequila bar focused on his celebrity vanity tequila Teremana at the Black Adam premiere—even though the film itself was PG-13.

The lightsaber battle in RotJ is a mirror image of Luke and Vader’s battle in tESB augmented with a ridiculously epic score. It should be #1.

The person I feel bad about in all of this is Cavill who seemed genuinely excited to be coming back to the role, only to have everything completely dashed a few weeks later.

If this is in fact true--that younger viewers are defending Will Smith--then “younger” viewers need to grow up. Let’s stop defaulting to the “younger” viewpoint as the more progressive, in-touch way to think if this is in fact who they’re siding with here.

“Sacheen Littlefeather, who took the stage to decline Marlon Brando’s 1973 Oscar in an effort to bring attention to the industry’s unfair treatment of Native Americans, said the only reason John Wayne failed to physically attack her is because a whopping six men were restraining him. Where was his ban, Academy?”
