That’s basically impossible to do, and far from advisable. These tools (neural networks) are pieces of code that anyone can write on a home computer. You might as well try to make “singing” illegal, or “keeping a journal” for all the practicality of enforcing a law against WRITING a certain kind of code would be. Not

I’m certainly fine with this, and I’m not shy about my support for AI technology and research. They’re banning people from selling AI art unless they can show they have the rights to the art. Which is what you’d need to sell any art, it just highlights that making something with an AI does not give you financial

I’m certainly into AI. I build them, I work on them. So fair bias maybe? But if you read anything else, at least read my last paragraph okay? The rest is a lot of musing on the difficulty of ‘stopping’ technology and my perception that isn’t even useful to pursue anyway.

I once saw this sort of “Why do I need feedback?” mentality form in real time in front of me. I was doing a site survey with a coworker for one of our clients. The job was process improvement; we were studying how their employees worked so we could make software to improve their operations.

Yeah Smaug and angelo hit it. Because of my current job, a union for me would be kind of superfluous. I have -many- peers who are very anti-union because what they see is, this is a thing they don’t really need, so why would ‘anyone’ need it?

I’d rather $70 ‘actually buy a game’ than mobile-style financing... but I fear I’m just going to get both, alas.

There certainly is - this is just a new flavor of an age-old trend. The easy access to audience is certainly new, and likely provokes more of it (or at least more visible) than we might otherwise have, but ‘pranks’ in the form of “Watch me go do something to this random stranger it’ll be hilarious!” and treating said

I’m not sure I can discuss much with a viewpoint that is cynical to the degree that it believes programmers only exist to be mustache-twirling evil-doers.

I mean, automobiles destroyed the horse industry, and you would have lost out on working with all the horse rearers and trainers who used to be a much more mainline profession, and eventually became primarily a hobby.

Why do I think that included it? I think they wanted to include cliche horny fanservice and that was the means they chose to convey it and it was never really thought out deeper than that.

>. If you saw a guy do to a girl what Meliodas does to Elizabeth, and you yelled at him, really laid into him. And she turned around and told you that it was fine, she didn’t mind and that you were in the wrong for assuming she wasn’t okay with it, how would you handle that?

If it helps, the reason I’m still on the conversation is I think we more agree than disagree. Ultimately this is a matter of what one can ‘brush off’ and still enjoy a series, which is always going to be a yardstick of personal preference. But I would like to address a few last things. The caps here aren’t meant to be

The thread was literally started from discussing things that make us personally too uncomfortable to enjoy an anime. If that all doesn’t make you uncomfortable that’s fine, but you do realize you’ve spent an entire thread trying to argue that _I_ should enjoy something that I don’t? Do you realize how silly that is?

I’ve always felt like the borderlands games ‘stall out’ around the middle a lot.  There’s always this stretch where it feels like I’m not really advancing the story, and leveling and weapon upgrades slow to a crawl.  I tend to love the start and end of most of the games but they sure feel to me like they have some dry

She didn’t know, and didn’t consent to it.  It wasn’t an ‘impulse hug’ either by any means.

I watched all of season 1, all of season 2, and skipped around through the following ones, taking clips out of episodes to avoid the time killing filler anime tends to be stuffed with as well as what I discussed. Differing opinions don’t always come from “you didn’t watch enough!”. I’ve seen the entire series’ plot

Yeah I couldn’t sit through 7 ultimately for that reason. MHA too. There’s so many *clips* I like from both but watching full episodes reminds me of something a friend said: “anime is best when it forgets it is anime”. Its best when it uses the medium to tell stories, write out characters and interactions. And worst

My issues with mobile gaming have nothing to do with ‘mobile’. I’ve had gameboys, game gears, a ps vita... a phone isn’t special because it’s a phone.

I’ve been playing some turn based 4x’s on it and not bad. The controls work pretty well for the majority of aspects but the sensitivity levels feel kinda fiddly for selecting and moving units.  The joystick is used for rapid cursor movement and the TouchPad fine movement.  I find that is its easy to get my cursor near

It’s extremely X-com with Grey Knights. I would say “Feel-wise” it feels more X-Com than Grey Knight, but it’s got all the 40k trappings and seems pretty competently put together.  I’m not very far yet but it’s familiar territory that way.
