It’s a quick and easy way to say “we wanted to write this up really quick and it was sunday so we knew nobody would get back to us.” Source? I work in the industry.
A remake would be worth 60-70. A remaster with 60fps and higher resolution support with multiplayer still in would be worth 40-50. A re-release with no improvements and LESS content than the original? 30 is being generous.

Maybe its just me, but the gems feel very “meh” in this game. Some resistance buffs and some very situational damage/status buffs.

I think he means more about Kojima’s departure from Konami and the yuckiness surrounding that and Konami as a whole since then. But its good to know he left something behind in case they revisited the game.
