God I love Star Citizen stories, its like the (non-fatal) car crash you see where cars keep slamming into the already huge pile of cars... it just keeps on giving.

I feel legit sorry for the people who bought into this at the beginning though.

I feel 0 sympathy for people who got sucked into this.

The end game is about giving players the opportunity to resell their items once they’re finished with them or they’re finished playing the game itself.”

Yes. Thank god we now have a way to sell games to others once we’re done playing them. Wait...

This new version of Degrassi is pretty lame ngl..

I prefer the “name a star” scam comparison.. at least (most) adopt a highway campaigns go towards something useful

Very reasonable, well thought out and put together post. Thank you.

Honestly I immediately thought of The Matrix when I saw Red Pill, and “noggin jogger” as an extension of the reference.

But I haven’t been on 4Chan since I was 17.

You got something on your nose...

Honestly, it just depends on your definition of toxicity. Death threats or threats in general? No, people who do that have a whole different set of issues.

But telling people they can’t be angry and vent that frustration on a public forum? Either you’re trolling or come from some higher

I still lose my loadouts several months after release. I give every game a grace period to “get their shit together” depending on the circumstances. But this is going beyond reasonable expectations for a AAA developer. The game wasn’t done, they rushed it out for holiday sales, and they charged $70 for a buggy mess.

Death threats? 100% no. But the fact that this game is coming from a AAA developer, released in the state it was, AND they asked $70 for it... nah. Outside of the threats I feel 0 sympathy for what’s been thrown at them.

The only thing that surprises me about this is that it took Konami this long. There is literally 0 reason to buy anything from them anymore... all of their games can be -ahem- “acquired” by other means...

-sigh- Remember when Horse Armor was the worst thing about gaming? Those were good times...

Whoa whoa whoa... since when does #pcmasterrace pay for anything outside the initial rig?

your not going to a Michelin star restaurant to get full, or if you are you are an idiot.”

You’re not seeing an Oscar winning film to be entertained, or if you are you are an idiot.

You’re not drinking water to have your thirst quenched, or if you are you are an idiot.

You’re not taking Tylenol to cure the headache

Trash opinions are everywhere, even overseas.

This is like that scene in Alien where they take Ash’s severed head and keep trying to bring it back to get a little more out of it.

Are we really surprised that, in the year 2021 during a major pandemic where we can’t even get people to get vaccinated, that people don’t/can’t follow basic instructions? Maybe the violence should be brought back >.>

Depends on the platform. If you’re talking about last gen systems, then yeah. But current gen/pc? They most certainly have.

I really enjoyed it on PS5 when I last played it a few months ago. You can tell they’ve continued to put a lot of work into it, and will continue to do so. I’d say the reviews are legit. If you’re on PS4 or XBone, I would likely not pick it up but other than that, there are worse things you can spend your money on

I wouldn’t call it “the WORST THING EVAHHH” but, for a Battlefield game, it leaves a lot to be desired. I feel the culprit is EA (obviously) wanting to make sure the game is out in time for Christmas and ignoring whatever problems may have remained.

The fact that this game is turning into a hero shooter is baffling. I
