See my above example, saying someone streaming the entirety of some of these games is just flat out giving them the entire experience. It’s equal to asking an artist to draw your logo for you for free because it will give them “exposure”.

Not even close to a valid comparison, this would be like Sony buying EA and making those games exclusives. The large majority of exclusive titles on PS are from small developers that likely wouldn’t have been made without Sony’s involvement.

The biggest case? All of the Souls games.

This is a win all around I feel. Timed exclusives give developers the ability to focus more on the game itself rather than getting it to run perfectly on every available platform. That results in well polished titles like H:ZD and and GoW (granted this isn’t always the case, but seems to be more so than not).

“The Sinking City is also ripe for revisiting” no... no it’s not.. I love Lovecraftian works and this game was just a big flop. Bugs galore, glitchy graphics and animations, boring combat, traveling is a chore.... the game is just one big missed opportunity whose flaws far outweigh the good (investigation segments).
