I am eagerly awaiting autonomous cars. Driving long distances on boring or traffic clogged roads is the single biggest drudgery most Americans face. And being able to get from point a to b and have a couple of drinks will IMO be culturally transformative.

You are being alarmist. Trump and the GOP are on record that there will be cheaper, better and more choice options phase into replace Obamacare without gaps. It’s all on the GOP congressional website. But idling yiunsre the least bit interested in learning about it. Fear and cynicism are the favoured mood of the left.

I think it will be much much higher than 20% ownership. There will be more hire vehicles around especially in urban areas, but owning the space you live in is almost always preferred.
