Those credits haven’t run out yet. You overlook the income tesla gets selling cafe credits - several hundred million worth. And that those were expected to increase had hrc been elected. Ditto subsides in Germany (and likely France and Italy and the UK.
And they lose money. The will hemorrhage it with loss of the subsidy gravy trains in Europe and America.

Cheap oil and gas keeps our enemies weak. The US has and is surrounded by vast oil and gas reserves- cda mex and Venezuela. The US - second only to Cda - depends on oil and gas for transport. Keeping it cheap increases American productivity and prosperity.

Exactly-emissions regs that we already have on the books are sufficient. No need to change them - it would simply add costs for everyone.
