The US is a far more litigous country than any country in the EU. That is very likely the reason why MB doesn’t set any towing capacity for the s class in NA. And by ding so they pass that potential liability onto the owner and thus onto the owners’ insurer.
It is all about liability. Merc doesn’t want to have any in NA where trailering with a luxury Merc is not done.

bluetooth in both our cars via uconnect. ditto when hooking up to home audio. only change for our family would be moving to wireless ear buds or getting the patch cord. No big deal in any event.
This isn't about consumer opinion it's about actual vehicle dynamics.

Relative to the Camry handling and ride is a downside.
They do not ride “great” on normal roads in comparison to a sedan with the same underpinnings. They ride Okay.
You need to reread my post. My point is that there is more than one downside to and CUV/SUV than fuel economy. The camry will runaway and hide from a rav 4 in terms of ride comfort and handling.
Road and highway ride is much better -read smoother and also better handling with the camry. Come on you know that is true and that that is what is universally meant by the terms ride and handling.
