“reskins” have been around for a very, very long time. By and large consumers seem not to care - same $hit different wrapper shrugs all around. Usually there is one clear winner among the reskins - the saab version of the subaru was a dud sales-wise for example.
You could have saved as much buying a Honda Fit or a dozen other gas vehicles due to lower purchase cost and been a lot more comfortable doing it.
