It's an Acura not a Honda. You wouldn't call a Cadillac a Chevrolet.

7 1/2 years isn’t “nearly a decade”.

Hysteria without facts.

That he could have easily avoided the accident is irrelevant - and smacks of favoritism towards tesla not unlike many other jalop posts. The manufacturer has made claims as to the capabilities of its technology that it seems clearly the technology cannot deliver on. Tesla is the primary one at fault here.

You park your horse anywhere there are spaces. I live in central Alberta - horses on the street is not unheard of - probably every few weeks I see one in town in the spring summer and fall.

Of course there will be no banning of human piloted vehicles just as there was no banning of horses when cars became prevalent. This whole end-of-freedom-to-drive claim has been a straw-man from the get go.

Odd that no one is saying that the 911 should become mid-engined. I am assuming that there will now be two corvette models - a rwd classic and a mid-engined model.

The author typifies exactly was mr Eastwood is describing and blaming for Americas decline. Citing internment camps and segregation just demonstrates how incoherent and naive these pussies are.

1. Why is this post on jalopnik

You are the asshole. Junk cars in public view is disgraceful behaviour little better than a crack house.

Over fifty percent of the predicted debt will interest costs on the current debt - even at the current historic low interest rate environment.

For practical purposes oil will remain low forever - rarely getting near or above $60. Reserves at those pieces run out past a century. So barring taxation changes gasoline will be cheap forever - practically speaking.

Oil is off 15% in the last few months - back down around 40$. Even the most optomistic analysts think it won’t get to $60 another two years of then. Gasoline prices aren't going anywhere.

An economist at a company beholden to the federal government is optomistic about the economy. Quelle surprise.

I NPed it only because there is a pretty good chance you could part it out for much more than the asking price. As a car it's hideous.

This post and the subsequent discussion has been very beneficial for me.

Depends on your circumstances. I drive a lot and rarely use a travel mug. And often I have both hot and cold drinks at the same time. VERY practical for me.

Why do we need to make it the law to publish fuel economy figures? Do we make it the law to publish a myriad of other stats on vehicles. And to what end?

They do a decent job for me. Especially compared to nothing.

Not sure how it would make the roads more dangerous. But there is the long-term risk of destroying the vette brand. But that is the rusk Porsche us taking too. In the meantime Porsche is making buckets of cash...
