Absolutely i do. It amazes me that anyone would surrender to an unaccountable bureaucracy.

From a regulation point of view he has vastly expanded government - essentially taking over one seventh of the economy via obamacare and layering all kinds of new rules on industry and individuals. The Tax code is now 72000 pages long for example.

we shall see.

It is not just that they are more expensive it is that they have not gone down in price. Look at all of the other bits of technology you own - from cellphone to microwave - they get vastly better AND Cheaper - that is largely not the case with automobiles.

far better than a faceless, unaccountable bureaucracy.

what’s your point? progress in terms of power and efficiency can come about due to competitive market pressure

not for a big chunk of americans - espcially those who think the country is over-regulated and ruled by unaccountable bureaucrats.

Nixon was a pragmatic republican - Friedman said:

How much have these regs done to increasing the cost to consumers? The next round will be even worse.

Emissions controls started long before the EPA was created by Nixon in 1970. Environmental regulation belongs in the hands of democratically elected legislators - not presidential appointees who answer - only partially - to the potus.

That's what they said about the 55 mph soeed limit. Once the threat to oil supply subsided 55 was eliminated.

Nope. Let's return this regulation to the elected members - not an agency that only really answers - partially - to the president.

Neutral: no. Vw promised the moon a couple times in terms of market share in the us and failed miserably both times. This promise is no different

The answer is neither. The hit king is Ty Cobb.

Apparently they have a list of projects - many having nothing to do with autos - as long as your arm that they want to get going on. Disruption is happening in many if not all sectors of the business world and uber seems to want to be involved on much of it.

Why bother with Evs - just go right after conventional ices?

glad you finally admitted your error.

why are you comparing the titan with an f-150 when it is in the same class as an f-250?

-40 before adding In the windchill especially at night is truly something to behold. Metal and lubricants act in very unusual ways and machinery breaks easily or wears out quickly if one isn't careful. Surprisingly few people on earth have ever experienced it.

I live an hour south of Edmonton. The Average low in January is 6 f and it regularly goes below -40f
