To be honest, I can barely hear a difference between the three of them, which why I think he "sounds like Crow". I've no particular favourite there. Whereas Kevin and Baron's Tom voices are very different from each other.

Hampton Yount's Crow is great, but I'm still iffy on Baron Vaughn's Tom Servo. I've never seen a pre-Murphy episode, so I think I've conditioned myself against accepting a different Tom voice. I'm sure I'll get used to it, though.

It wasn't unheard of though. Noël Coward used to do it, for example.

I think there's a poetic touch in the fact that probably the only person who will remember him as the man he once was is Obi-Wan. Ezra never saw him in his prime, Palpatine thinks so little of him he hasn't even bothered to hunt him down as a loose end.

Well, real people have survived being cut in half (probably through the pelvis rather than the waist, but still). And he's an evil alien magic knight. It's not the biggest suspension of disbelief required.

I was really hoping he'd sit down and we'd get one of those amazing little moments of vulnerability Maul sometimes got (and Sam Witwer always nailed). His dying words were a nice gesture in that direction, but I would have loved to see Obi-Wan and Maul just talk for a minute.

They basically do the same type of job. They change or lengthen the sound of the vowel (fada literally means long). Sean sounds like "shan" and means "old", the name is Seán, and séan (I can't actually remember if that's a real word or not) is pronounced "shane" like the name.

Well, they're not really being rendered into English at all. So they're pronounced exactly how they're spelled (you know, as long as you know how to pronounce them.) There's no difference between Siobhán and, say, Jorge (you wouldn't just read it in English as "George", you'd say cHor-hay) in that sense.

The h in the wrong place isn't the bit that'd lose him marks for spelling, it's the fact that he forgot the fada on both fhéile and Phádraig. "feile" and "padraig" are nonsense words, and fadas are not optional. That means he couldn't be bothered to copy/paste it from somewhere that got it right, either.
