Great costumes, great storylines!

I agree. I think at one point everybody expected it to be Frankie or Mike (even though he was out trick or treating with Brick). This was so unexpected and so brilliant

The Middle:
One of the best episodes of The Middle ever! I loved every second of it, the storylines were great and Brick/Atticus did a great job narrating (also, he looks good in a suit!)!!!

You could see it as lazy, and there are more people that do, but I think it's very clever.
Also, you should really give it another try. In my opinion it is one of the funniest comedies on TV right now :)

They really have a lot continuity. Think about Brick's school bag all of last season (pizza bag) and that even came back in the season 7 premiere. Besides that they have done a lot of other callbacks to earlier seasons. I tried to list the callbacks of last season and it was really a lot..
