I think there’s a significant difference between continuing to play a franchise character at a certain age and being initially cast as an ongoing franchise character at a certain age.

For the record, I don’t even recall what any LaCroix flavors taste like. We also sold those, and occasionally I’d have one if they were available, and it was a fine enough substitute for soda and plain water but nothing I recall being worthy of so much praise or derision. But then again, I also enjoy coconut water AND …
I was mostly being snarky than corrective, but it has become a mild pet peeve. I used to work for a company selling specialty and gourmet foods and supplements, and we were always inundated with complaints of things supposedly tasting like, smelling like, looking like, containing, or evenhaving chemicals just flat out…
Probably chemicals, because everything is chemicals.
Isn’t bleach a base, not an acid?
Movie studio execs might still.
No stoves at work. Luckily, I have no contact with him outside of work to find out much about his home life.
I have a coworker who is absolutely nuts for the guy. They had to separate our lunches and also tell him to use headphones because he would listen to InfoWars so loudly on his phone. He’s also got several bumper stickers on his family van. Everytime he mentions something he “saw on the news,” I have to assume it’s…
Thank you! See, Fox? There’s $10 - $15 right there waiting for you!
I don’t think it’s so much just the last name as much as it is shifting to a focus on the character’s name in a different way. “Rocky” shifted from the “First Name+Number” naming scheme before dropping the numbering for a back-to-basics “Rocky Balboa” and then spun off into “Creed.”
So I had an idea for this series’ finale a few years ago that I’m fairly positive would be way better than anything they’ve been coming up with and also would’ve ended the series for good, at least until the inevitable reboot...
Ah, but see, I’m Protestant and thus believe that’s all just symbolic ritual and not literal. Therefore eating the flesh of actual Jesus chicken is a bit of a conundrum.
It’s called being “extra,” and it harkens back to the days when newsies would shout out on the streets, “Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Carrie Nation threatens men with castration by hatchet if they don’t stop drinking and ‘get [their] goddamn drunken asses right with Jesus’!”
If Jesus chicken resurrects in 3 days after slaughter him... can you eat him again, or is that considered sacrilege?
They were probably worried that kids were too stupid to understand why there were two Michelles on screen. (The kids who didn’t understand that Michelle is neither’s real name, on the other hand, were written off as lost causes.)
Well, that is where it... ENDS up!
Ha, I correctly predicted a rework of the character! Though now we also face a sequel where Nick Fury is confirmed. For what? I dunno, because he’s no longer SHIELD, but maybe he returns to it after something tied into next season of AoS that's largely unimportant to Far From Home? Let's return here in a year to find…
Dammit, I had this idea years ago, only Samantha was Asian, and the show dealt with a form of assimilation and holding on to your roots. Darren also would’ve been much more progressive and tried to embrace the culture of his wife while obviously having to keep the witch aspect under wraps because, you know...…
As a victim of a pedophile rapist (like, no joke, I’m pulling out my victimhood card here and waving it in your face), I’m going to contradict you and say that that’s not inherently true. And I’m fairly certain Gunn has insinuated that he or someone he knows was a victim of a molesting priest when he had spoken out…
I’m more disappointed he thought some of those jokes were actually funny at some point, more so than the actual content. I’m saying this as a member of the LGBT community and a victim of childhood molestation. Some of those are bad jokes, period, but also clearly not meant to actually validate pedophiles and rapists.…
