“Rush” was pretty fantastic.

I am now picturing an ‘80s sitcom starring a man named Gay who’s perverted in ways other than what you’d expect, and all if them horrible...

I don’t see that at all about real life Chris Evans, though. Perhaps you saw too much of his pre-Cap roles where he played nothing but cocky, shirtless, pretty, handsome... ... What were we talking about, again? ...

At least he wasn’t going 88 MPH. ;-)

I’m inclined to believe you. My mom actually talked to him at a gym somewhere back in the ‘80s when he was filming something, and he was apparently very nice. No near misses with a car or anything!

Hey, he didn’t MAKE women’s clothes fall off. They just did.

Genuine question: Why wouldn’t you be surprised about Evans?

Patrick Stewart. Tom Hanks. James Marsten. Don Cheadle. Chris Evans. Michael J. Fox.

Just so long as it’s through a super grainy filter and over exposed.

Entirely possible that since the first half was ultimately a complete story, they didn’t want to assume too much and decided to wait and see, particularly since New Line has had previous issues with horror remakes.

Are you suggesting a non-grim and gritty reboot? Is... is there such a thing?

It can be two things. Many things, even.

Eeeehh... after watching the original adaptation, apart from the Tim Curry homage in Chapter One, I would like to see them stay away from that version pretty much as much as possible. Plus, Green just doesn’t look like the kid here.

I’m kinda done expending the energy on this, because we’re just going round and round, so feel free to take it as a win by default if you must. I consider it a win, personally, to just walk away.

I’ve been stuck thinking Christopher Mintz-Plasse for a while now. I think the Kick-Ass movies are solid evidence of his capability in playing not just an annoying twerp, but also a ridiculously silly asshole.

Good grief... I keep saying that I have no issues with the acknowledgement of certain groups eating dogs, and yet you keep reading past that, it seems. Hell, I might not order it, because of my own mental hangups, but I’d certainly and graciously eat it if it were served to me, regardless of the ethnicity of the

You’re obviously missing the nuance of the difference. Saying that many Texans are cattle rustlers, as with the comment about stating some Chinese people (or Koreans, who face the same stereotype - I know first-hand) eat dogs is just factual, not racist.

I see Chastain more as “resembling,” since Adams and Lillis just look way too similar to not play the same character, but if schedules prove to be a factor, they could obviously swap without much issue.

Noting that certain cultures, even specifically, still eat dogs is not inherently racist. Yes. Complaining that people eat dogs when you eat other animals is hypocritical. Sure.

I was very much convinced she looked more like a young Amy Adams, but I understand working with familiar actors, and I’m all for Chastain as an alternative.
