… and… were you correct?

I thought Harry Styles was the one who reluctantly resurfaced to get air while the oil was on fire. It actually soured the movie for me a bit, thinking Nolan had copped to crassly punishing an understandably freaked out soldier for his paranoia over the French guy being a German spy. I will never be more relieved to

The girls behind me, who were intent on squeeing whenever Harry Styles was on screen, were also intent on making "It's like Titanic!" comments to one another over the booming of the speakers in a freaking IMAX. I wanted to shout at them, but they were teens and possibly with their parents, who didn't seem to mind,

But… your name says you're purple… and also a tentacle….

First base… Second base…

I consider this kinda stuff the little seasonings on top of the shit cake that is his presidency. … No, I don't care that you don't normally put seasonings on top of cake. I'm standing by my analogy.

Ah geez, that sucks. My mom and I, for some reason, always enjoyed quoting his line from Big, thanks largely to his delivery: "I don't get it! I don't get it! Make it turn into a bug!"

The same thing, but with Josh Gad and a healthy helping of autotune for the lead actress, you mean…

I just talked about this with my sister and came to the realization that "Friend Like Me" will likely feature at least a rap break and likely a breakdancing carpet…

He wasn't bad in his small role in Hacksaw Ridge, but I rented The Shack recently, and… damn, he's bad there, but it's not a great movie in the first place.

I'm very much against censorship - just own your mistakes and put them in context if you feel compelled. I own a collection of Disney WWII shorts that have SO MANY bad things in there that they didn't censor but put into their rightful historical context.

Tony Jay was epic, period.

I don't know if I'd go with "whimpy" - I understand the logic behind the Pirates ride thing, but Donald chasing girls? The joke was more on him and his futile attraction than the situation, really.

I barely knew Dekker apart from Terminator. I thought he was fine there, but it's been a while since I watched it. Can't recall if there was ever an intended romance in that for him. His relationship with Cameron was very sibling-like, though I do recall she was at least trying to emulate teenage girl attraction. But,

Yeah, that was removed from the Gold Collection release a while ago, wasn't it? Considering the removal of certain things from the Pirates ride, I don't suspect that's coming back.

No, dammit! Did you not hear about how I said they released the movie with ventriloquist dummies on Blu-Ray!? I need my singing whale and Horned King in fully restored HD!

Yeah, I grew up with them all, too, and even have all of them - with the exception of their anthology films before Cinderella - on DVDs and Blu-Rays. I'm even replacing the DVDs I have with Blu-Rays when they come out and only haven't upgraded some, like "The Black Cauldron," because they're not yet out on the format.

Just went to get some water, and I forgot - I also still have my souvenir lenticular Terminator 3 cup from back then!

Good on you. I went with a friend, but I was kinda hoping I'd fall in line with the minority that actually kinda liked it. Obviously, I didn't.

I still feel like "Beauty and the Beast" was still better at the time. The castle, and the musical numbers… "Belle" is a really great opening song. (You heard that, pointless live action remake!? … Though I did really love the Beast's song in that one and kinda wish they'd do another animated sequence for the original
