It was overall just a complete waste of a fairly decent cast. Hopefully they course correct after the success of Wonder Woman.

Gonna disagree with you on the quality of that movie - I loved it. Perhaps not the best Trek film (that's Wrath of Khan and Undiscovered Country), but, regardless, I also thought she was a standout.

Would that make "Enchanted" a secret sequel, then? It DOES feature Jodi Benson in a cameo role…

That being said, fan theories themselves are kind of a threat to polite society, don't you think? I'm pretty certain that the whole Darth Jar-Jar theory is going to inspire some radicalized fanatic to storm Lucasfilm and demand that it be made canon based on the blind devotion I see in believers of that idea and

Ironically, I found your cynical Simpsons referencing to be evidence proving my point, so nyeh.

Jai Courtney managed to be not bad in it. I think he's growing on me, but that may also be his being not awful in awful things. His face is also unusual and possibly attractive to me, but I don't know why…

I think you mean "adult content" there, because people like to pretend that happy things secretly addressing dark themes makes them both better and more interesting when, sometimes, adulthood can also be wonderful and meaningful without it. And I say this as a depression sufferer with a pretty shitty past, dammit! I

I saw a VHS, puffy case copy of Disney's "Pollyanna" last year at a Walmart in Phoenix. It was going for a few bucks. I'd have bought it if it were a movie I'd liked… or seen… or was on a format I could still play on something.

"Spencer" is a name that will doom a kid into being a little shit.

Really? Hmm…

Wait, isn't he a page at NBC?

My gay agenda is to prepare some posole in my crockpot, then sit on my couch in my underwear, eat the leftover ribs my mom made for Father's Day, and watch the stupid movies I got from Redbox.

I'm gay, and I still don't think I understand why some things are considered gay and others aren't! I can't keep up, dammit!

As a gay man, I'm very perplexed by this. It was amusing at first, but now people have gone and lost their minds and are taking it seriously, it seems. It feels forced and kinda takes away the power of the original film in my opinion. I understand that some people believe in the death of the author and such, but while

[whispers] Covfefe… [winks]

He never did a duet with Jackie Jormp-Jomp, either, but you gotta go for that Best Original Song Oscar somehow, right?

It's because people like him are in their little bubbles and can't be bothered to think outside of it, and they go with what feels correct. It's funny because they also criticize people on the other side of the same and also being weak when they can't stand to be challenged themselves.

I think there's value, though, in showing the glamorous appeal of the awful stuff, even excessively. That people might take it as endorsement rather than indictment is kinda also the point.

Seven. And, yep, he has a family, which he's used as an excuse to claim he's not racist, because his wife is Korean. Never mind the fact that he's also once said to me in a conversation about his wife's family immigrating here, "Don't you just appreciate the ones who come here and assimilate and choose American names?"

I'm going to agree with you on that point. I think that's really what everyone has been saying, as well, and what she has also apologized for: speaking without proper knowledge for the things she's said.
