Why not Mule Sauce or Horse Sauce or even freaking Karate Sauce (which would be amusing since it means "way of the empty hand")? Why choose something so evocative?

I've watched him plenty. Every time I'm visiting home, my parents have what seems to be a Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives marathon on at some point. And, yeah, I don't like watching him eat, which is like a third of the show. I realize it may not bug some, and if he were in my company, whatever, but as a facet of why

I don't know if he's still on there, but Tyler Florence should be included on that list, too. He had that one show where he'd go to various people's homes and help them make better versions of things they've failed to make, and usually it was just him flirting with giggling housewives. I hate watched that a lot with

Feasting on Asphalt and its follow-up were great miniseries, and I loved Good Eats and still pop it on once in a while on Netflix.

But I do find him entertaining and not grating, in spite of it. He's certainly more interesting to me than most celebrity chefs/food celebrities.

Ugh, I wish everyone would just stop using that term! Every time I hear it, I can only picture a horribly violent oral sex act… Why the hell does he call it that!? [weeps]

I can't stand watching him because I can't stand watching him eat. It's kinda gross. I also don't care for his adult contemporary extreme personality since he's become big.

Imogen Gay Poots. Nothing will ever beat that.

Exactly - conservatives, for all their complaints about them, are desperate for celebrities to be on their side, as are Christians (obviously some overlap there). You see it in misappropriated quotes, fake quotes, and memes that report certain celebrities as having supported them or even suffer in the system for their

I don't think it was so much that they conflated reality with the character so much as their reading of the film and admiration of Kyle and Eastwood led them to believe that Cooper was on the same page from having made the movie. A bit more nuanced, but no less ignorant.

I'm fairly certain a large portion of the people who are calling for Colin's head probably also think "Rainbow Connection" is some kind of gay sex anthem.

If it's not a legitimate protest, America has ways of stopping it from becoming a movement.

Woohoo! I'm not the only one, then. When I saw him pop up on "Freaks and Geeks" as Lindsay's crush, I was like, "Finally, someone acknowledges his non-threatening good looks!" Still, I found him most charming as the pervy Mr. Universe, which… not so much his pettiness, but that smile…

That actually does make me feel bad, but probably for the better, oddly. I'd had a crush on him, inexplicably, since I was a kid and he played Bernard in "The Santa Clause," and it really only persisted with time - was a freaking babe to me as Mr. Universe in "Serenity," and I nearly even watched "Numbers" a few times.

Someone else pointed out that Spam musubi is pretty delicious, particularly with pickled daikon. First and only time I've ever prepared it myself, I diced it, fried it, and then added sriracha, frozen baby peas, egg, and rice. It was surprisingly good.

He has some undoubtedly annoying quirks, but he's gotten more tolerable over the years, I think. Or maybe I'm just more tolerant…

I think that's what the video alludes to, though: build up is necessary, and if you can make it invisible and fit with the tone of your film, all the better. Most movies these days treat jump scares like a lot of people treat humor: "Oh my God, that was so random!"

The director of "Lights Out" recently talked about that and how he had to use unpredictable timing patterns to create tension, even if it broke reality, which was interesting, since I was doing the countdown thing during that movie and was very… well, not unnerved, but definitely weirded out by it enough to appreciate

Eh, I wasn't really thinking gogiggs was saying that, either. I just wanted to play of the comment.

He didn't do anything for me when he was younger, but he's actually aged into his looks very well.
