Hardly surprising, since Bono is utterly incapable of anything but DEEP EARNEST THOUGHT OMG!!!

"That line is one of the only decent things about a pretty awful song."

Good gods, that's awful. I'll stick with Springsteen and Browne for my political/activist lyrics, thanks. Bono's hand has always been rather too leaden and operatic for my taste.

Amazing how many people's heads that line just WHIZZES over.

Um…no, thanks.

Hardly surprising from Jackson and his camp. Not exactly great at the reality thing, was he.

Yeah, take the teeth right out of the song and make it as syrupy and dishonest as possible. * eyeroll *

Doesn't make me feel ancient. It makes me feel smart enough to READ LABELS ON BUTTONS. "Play" and "Rec" and other such things really aren't that hard to figure out, and if this is how utterly stupid kids are, that ain't my problem.

Watchmen the comic book was fantastic. Watchmen the film was leaden, plodding, overly literal, and had no interest or energy. I waited for that damn film for THIRTY YEARS and that's what they came up with? I'd MUCH rather have had Gilliam's interesting ending (which makes far more sense than either the stupid

Few critiques are as useless as "that's just stupid".

Amazing how all these critics will gladly dance to Tarantino's tune.  He must be laughing his ASS off.

So *that's* why the commentary on the recent Repo Man disc hardly contained anything about Estevez.  I was wondering about that.  Seemed like an awfully big omission when he was in practically ever shot in the film.
