I booked DMX at a show in Atlanta around... I want to say it was Halloween 2011. Anyway, I didn’t really know what to expect. The quarry would definitely use something with more punch for rock blasting. My thought is they know people and could hook up the idiot father-to-be with a supplier. Or maybe they’ve got a side hustle hiring the quarry out to for idiots who want to blow stuff up in a safe place.

My guess is it wasn’t all bought at once or all by the same person. Tannerite is used for all sorts of applications, usually in relatively small amounts. It’s primary use is as an explosive marker at shooting ranges because a high-velocity rifle round will set it off.
