They have been using Bing maps. They’ve been using most map data from most of the map data databases because trying to recreate the entire world in a game with just the data from one service or another would be impossible. There simply isn't enough of it to do so in one database.

Uhh, sounds to me like someone who looks at a relationship as the complicated, mercurial and very, very “shades of grey” thing it is, and not the quixotic, black & white idea that people sometimes mistakenly believe they are.

I was referring more to the disparity between enlistment ages and smoking/drinking ages rather than the specific abhorrent practice of highschool/twitch enrollment attempts by the military.

I mean it definitely is lunacy, but the US is far from the only country to commit to these practices. 

Well since EVE, from what I know, is essentially a reading/arithmetic sim, I feel like readability plays a pretty major part in its enjoyability.

That may be true; I can’t claim to know the inner workings of game developers and their relationships with publishers - I only know what I educate myself on.
