You are absolutely right. And since this is that same country, America - where we all have the right to name our children stupid things - we, also, have the right to point out how ridiculous it is when people take advantage of that right.

That was delightful.

I have, yes. It just kills me when someone uses an absence of evidence as evidence of absence - worse still when doing it for something that has, very obvious, severe and potentially deadly consequences for doing so. But, I suppose that’s par for the course with some people.

The point isn't that it has, it's that it could and probably will.

Major missed alliteration opportunity not using “Huge Hateful Homicidal Hornets”.

Deep fried cinnamon/sugar tomato sauce with some grated Parm on top, please.

The main issue with that is that VR games, particularly truly incredible VR games, have to be built from the ground up for VR. Alyx is so incredible and revolutionary precisely because Valve didn’t envision it as a traditional FPS, which they then ported into VR. Everything “works” in Alyx because it was built from

The truth can be just as mind boggling as the farce.

I think it’s like 70% of all failed marriages have an instance of cheating, which is wildly different than 70% of all marriages, but that’s statistics for you.

Reminds me of that scene in Buckaroo Banzai.

I own plenty of guns, as a centrist who tends to swing left on alot of things, even. My father has, being a Sheriff years ago in Oregon and a big game hunter in Washington and Alaska. My grandfather did too, being in the 508th 82nd Airborne and parachuting over Normandy.

The 2nd ammendment isn’t to “hold the government accountable”, it’s there to protect ourselves in the event of our government crossing over to tyranny - or in its subtext - against slave revolt.

Happy Birthday, Mike.

It happens more than people think, meeting through things like MMO's and such. Though we are a little bit of an outlier, still being together after all this time.

I have to admit that was part of the reason I decided to go and meet my fiance years ago. It sounds shallow, but it was legit hard to resist.

Speaking on the second colum: I actually met my now fiance through WoW, almost a decade ago through our guild. We started getting closer after a falling out with my ex at the time, and after about a year of talking in-game and on Ventrillo I decided to take a hell of a leap of faith and bought a plane ticket to W.V.

I chose Kassy, but for me, when it comes to picking a gender in an open world RPG like Odyssey, it usually comes down to the tried and true (if maybe a little shallow) Booty-view test. Plus, she just seemed more dimensional to me as a character compared to Alex.

Yes please, absolutely.

Well said.

When I was about 16 or so, I used to spend many of my weekends drinking (among other things) and partying with my older brother and his gf (and her family, who lived literally next door (it was a duplex)).
