They actually weren’t bad, the only mechanical issues i recall is seeping oil from the rear main and gearboxes that were prone to blown synchros. The larger problem believe it or not was that Dacia only made a small permutation of key designs, and so the key to your Dacia would open something like one in eight others.

Those darn commies aren’t going to be getting their beet-stained fingers on my flowcharts dang-nabbit!!

No worries, thank you for taking the time to respond. I would like to second the notion of a “pay what you want” or at least pay the printing cost model for your book. While I think it’s admirable that you are not looking to make anything on it, I am certain many of us would like to show our appreciation and make sure

Many thanks for your sage advice.

Edited to sound less obnoxious.

Would like to see Charles Farrell’s take on this, can’t say I’ve seen a boxer throw an opponent out looking for a NC before.

Did you by chance gloss over his username? Based on that and previous posts (some of which are legitimately funny) the “trollism” may be a factor : )

Charles just wanted to say thank you for another fantastic piece. Extremely well written and entertaining as always. Need to link us to your book and plug it more, I for one was not aware you were writing one. Looking forward to you writing on GGG Canelo 2 and of course Joshua Wilder, if you have the time.

Amherst and Tonawanda for 10+ years here after being all over including NYC and Europe. Concur that the vast majority of folks driving are far more courteous than anywhere else.

Have they done anything about their horrendous streaming platform using a plugin that support expired for years ago?

Where does one get a Jalopnik sticker? Running at the glen late April and would love one for the E36

Just wanted to chime in and give you kudos on the first article, was likely going to watch the fight but your piece made me commit to tuning in, and also give you kudos on the great insight and commentary in this piece. Keep doing what you’re doing, based on my opinion and the vast majority of the comments below the

No thanks. For less than that kind of money you could get a reallll nice E series chassis built class B that would be newer, more reliable, and easier and cheaper to fix. Quirk factor not worth on this one.

Yep, tiny 10mm bolts on a snow blower. And to be honest, if you think about it, going far over 10 ft lbs is not all that difficult. With a 12" wrench you have to exert 10 lbs of pressure. To the 220 lbs of asshole at the end of that wrench (myself or one of my wrenching buddies), the difference between that and say 20

Are you using a harbor freight torque wrench?! Not trying to sound snobby, just a word of caution: you get what you pay for. I’ve personally seen bolt heads snapped off with HF torque wrenches set for 10 ft lbs.

Oh I see, I was under the impression you were stating the odds of the series of events that occurred was 4%; not that the possibility of wining from that situation was 4%. Good point.

Was using heavy sarcasm; much like the original poster. Typically on these articles Torch throws all of the criteria out the window and comes up with some batshit crazy suggestion that is the opposite of what the reader asked for. :)
