According to the remaining fragments in my brain of the Computer Forensic class I took 2 years ago, MD5 can be used to hash the stored copy of the data and it will be admissible in court.

Actually with the water ice bath method you just can bring an ice chest in to the living room, garage, patio or wherever you had the party.
