Indeed. I don’t know how many times I’ve been watching something and said, “Why is there score over this?” So many scenes in movies/TV have been ruined by the unncessary addition of score. You want to just say, “Hey, watch this scene and imagine there being no score. Is it better? OK take out the score.”
