Octopath 2 has grown to be one of my all time favorite RPGs, and it’s pretty much guaranteed to be called a disappointment in the next earnings call because SE just dropped it on the sidewalk with a shrug. Fucked up.

There’s definitely a subset of people like that in the game, but I think most people play as the Lalafells because it’s fun to be Just A Little Guy™. I mean, short people are a thing. There was an article a while ago where a short woman said to stop calling her boyfriend a pedophile, and people on Tumblr reblogged it to make fun of her and call him a pedophile.

Have you played literally any bethesda game ever? They all launch like dogshit, riddled with crashes, bugs, broken systems, and even after they patch them they still run like crap and are bugged to the fucking sky, until modders come in to clean their mess. It has happened every single game it will happen in this game…

You know, I don’t think Bob Ross deserves to be parodied. Feels a bit wrong.

He’s not playing Bob Ross. He’s playing a character called Carl Nargle. It’s not a Bob Ross movie. 

I was wondering something similar cuz it seems odd that an instance of it would have only targeted shiny Pokemon. Maybe people who used PKhex to modify their save file had it messed up that didn't cause an issue till the new update. 

I don’t think Tarks’ tweet was intended to just get mad about the review. His comment makes it clear that he’s giving context to Yoshida Naoki objecting to the term JRPG, showing that in the past “JRPG” was at least sometimes treated with derision/racism.

I wonder if this will be an instance of a bug that only affects hackers or the like, or whether it’s just a case of GameFreak dropping the ball hard. Neither would surprise me at this point.
