I finished the Final Fantasy IV Pixel Remaster, the third one I’ve done so far, and man these remasters are a great way to revisit these titles. Each one has taken ~10-12 hours and the auto system works pretty well for fights.

I can see why they’re doing this from a potential market confusion scenario (I heard they remastered the GTA trilogy! Oh look, there it is on Steam! [buys wrong one, demands refund]). But it’s still weird. It’s what Square Enix did with the FF Pixel remasters, which ironically replaced a remaster of the originals…
